Kramer Family Reinder Kramer and 2nd wife Korneliske (Cornelia). Cornelia and Reinder were married after his first wife passed away about 1897. Cornelia and Sietske were brought up as sisters in the same household in Holland. However, they were sisters by the coincidence of marriage only. So when Sietske passed away, Reinder went back to the same family and asked for Cornelia in marriage. He was a widower with 6 children and needed help. Cornelia and Reinder then had 3 children of their own.

This is one of the earliest photo we have of the daughters of Cornelia and Reinder Kramer. Photograph taken in Chicago probably about 1911 Oldest to Youngest: Betty (1902- ??), Dorothy (1906-1991), Agnes (1909- 2001) Agnes passed away on November 8. 2001 just two weeks short of her 92nd birthday.       Photo courtesy R.
